I left Hong Kong and arrived in Dubai on the 10th. I'm staying with the Saunders in there wonderful villa. Elaina arrived yesterday and today we managed to set an agenda for the rest of our travels (at least the Dubai portion). We spent the day in the beach (where we were the only 2 until some other random pair arrived) we also checked out Wafi Mall. Tomorrow we are going on a overnight dessert safari. I'm looking forward to seeing the sunrise in the dessert on my birthday. Other birthday plans include Wild Wadi Water park, a night at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf and drinks at the Burj Al Arab (7 star hotel) in the photo.

233 Meters
Yesterday Sylvia and I bungy jumped off the Macau Tower. The jump at 233 meters is the highest bungy jump in the world. This is a good thing so I won't be tempted to do it again. Glad I did it but I won't be tempted to do it again. The worst part of all was the hanging upside down as they slowly lower you down. I could have done without that, especially the worrying that one of my sneakers would fall off and the what would happen if it did. I'll have some very cool pictures of that coming soon. (I know, I know I promise pictures and never deliver but this time it's not my fault, they have to mail the CD to me because we had to run to catch our ferry back to Hong Kong.....which we missed anyways! But nevertheless it was a fun day in Macau.
